I never realized how long of a process it took for the people of Bhopal to get justice from this terrible leak. I can't imagine the hate and anger these people still have to this day.

The essay of information about this chemical leak has helped me more understand the worldwide affect this tragedy had. I also learned that the factory that had leaked 40 tons of chemical had had poor faulty material that was destined for this to happen sometime.

While reading this passage this has made me realize how bad the people who live by this plant and many other plants are affected on day to day life. I have a better understanding of how bad people were getting injured or dying and how quickly from silly mistakes like these.

After looking at this source it has brought me to thinking how major and dangerous this chemical was and how irresponsible Union Carbide was to allow this to happen.

After watching this video and reading the description I now have a more visual perspective of what Bhopal looked like. Not only were all the people dying, the plants and animals are dying which is another reason why this barrier needed to be broken as quickly as possible.

This timeline of events really made me realize that people were already aware that this place was not safe and other incidents already happened, but the plant owner was too stubborn and didn’t want to pay the money to repair it. This then caused thousands of people dying and him getting in lots more trouble and spending more money than they already would have had to.

This document of the list of laws that were in effect from the Bhopal gas leak has given me an idea of how big of an impact this was. This taught me that places like the U.S. government changed many laws because of this disaster. It also gave me an idea of what the company's consequences were and what they had to do from their mistake.

Other than not having money the people of Bhopal also don’t have access to fresh water. I have realized what other affects this disaster has led to.

After looking at this image, I can't believe that the whole plant still has not been all the way cleaned up after the gas leak happened

After reading this article from when this chemical leak actually happened this has made me realize that not all safety is updated to this day and if we don’t change ways to get energy without wasting our resources and warming the planet we are soon going to have no more humans that can live on earth.

If I were this person who worked at the Plant, I would feel terrible and I’m sure many people would shame him for what his company did.
